Scott Lawlor is responsible for the overall management, strategic vision and investment activities of the company. He has over 39 years of experience across all aspects of real estate investment. Prior to launching Waypoint, Mr. Lawlor founded Broadway Partners, a private, vertically-integrated real estate investment management firm, that acquired more than 28 million square feet of office properties throughout the U.S. He holds an M.B.A. and M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a B.A. from Bucknell University.
Jack McIntyre is Vice President of Development for Waypoint and responsible for sourcing, entitlement, and execution of ground up development opportunities in the Southeast region. Mr. McIntyre has a decade of experience in real estate development, investment, and brokerage. Prior to joining Waypoint, Mr. McIntyre held positions at Preferred Apartment Communities and Jones Lang LaSalle. Mr. McIntyre holds a B.S. from Washington and Lee University, an MS from Wake Forest University School of Business, and an MS in Real Estate from Georgia State University Robinson College of Business.
Christopher Saul is a Managing Director of Capital Markets at Waypoint, responsible for capital formation and distribution across the private wealth channel, including private banks, trust banks, and registered investment advisors (RIAs). He focuses on capital raising and distribution for Waypoint’s investment solutions. Mr. Saul brings more than 25 years of experience in investment management, fund-level strategy, and investment distribution, working closely with private wealth clients to deliver tailored investment solutions. Prior to joining Waypoint, he held senior capital markets and distribution roles at Bluerock Capital Markets, BNY Mellon, and OppenheimerFunds. Mr. Saul holds a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University and maintains FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Traci Wilhelm is the Managing Director of Asset Management for Waypoint and is responsible for driving business plans, optimizing operational performance, and enhancing investment returns for the portfolio. She has over 20 years of experience in the multifamily real estate industry and was most recently the Managing Director of Asset Management at Ashcroft Capital. Prior to that, Ms. Wilhelm held leadership positions at RXR Realty, CBRE Investment Management and Gables Residential after practicing real estate transaction law in Denver, CO. She holds a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, a M.S. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, and a B.A. from The University of Colorado.
Dominique Song is responsible for overseeing legal matters related to the company’s business operations and investment activities. She has over 15 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking and law. Ms. Song previously served as General Counsel of Blue Magma Residential. Ms. Song is a licensed attorney in California, Florida and Texas and practiced at Cravath and Gibson Dunn. Before obtaining her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, she was an investment banking analyst with Goldman Sachs.
Kristi Novak oversees Waypoint’s property management operations, ensuring the successful launch of new communities and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. With more than 23 years of industry experience and a B.S. in Residential Sciences from Florida State University, she brings deep expertise in new construction, property renovations, repositioning, acquisitions, and large-scale capital projects. Known for her strengths in team building, client relations, and staff development, Kristi holds the CAM, CAPS, and NAAEI Trainer designations. She has also served as President of both the Southeast Florida Apartment Association and the Florida Apartment Association, reflecting her leadership and influence within the multifamily industry.
